Statement
My work is an aspiration for the future. A future where environmentally sustainable products have replaced the disposable containers we use in daily 21st century life. Presenting these objects as museum artefacts I want to engage my audience, make them question their use of these products. Elevating the status of these objects, my hope is that people’s perception of these products will alter. Ultimately this may bring about a change in behaviour, culminating in these pieces becoming relics of our time.
